XCU Create an example of extreme close-up with the otter-A test of this is DONE with a past version of MF (past version of otter too).
Make the otters look at Player: Need project files. We will need a stepping animation so the otters appear to be moving. I've done the ai like this before (when you get closer the otter moves to look at you). Ai should probably be the same as the Xcu shot's AI so doing both would be a good idea. Emre was also on job.
1.1 DOWNLOAD AND RUN PHASE 2 VERSION OF MF
-Need project files
-make sure the files are on your laptop & the Alienware computer.
-Make sure the new version (Phase 2) is backed up on each removable HD.
DUE DATE: TBD (estimated: May 30th, latest)
NOTE: I have added the application files to the MF HD/alien/my laptop. The oculus is currently not working with the Cool! files. :/
1.2 TEST FRAMERATES USING Oculus Rift
(needs to be 75Hz; a few brief drops are ok, but we need to see when & where those occur) F-key
NOTE: there is a problem with the way the OR handles discrete vs. home graphics. Figuring out when & where drops occur will help us diagnose what is computationally expensive in terms of throughput.
NOTE 2: There is no way of testing it when the oculus is not running with the files and we do not have the project.
DUE DATE: first, general indication: Tuesday May 18 if possible.
DUE DATE: precise version: Tuesday May 25.
2.1 MAP WHERE MF ELEMENTS ARE ON PAPER MAP
-DONE for only the 2 tiles that I have the maps for.
Map where otters are, mushi, etc. in a way that we can give to Ari to specify which otters & mushi to remove, and that sort of thing. Note: if we need a larger version, pls let Mahsoo know and cc: me. DUE DATE: By next Tuesday May 18 if possible.
